Personal Data Processing Notice

Under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"), HypeFit, as data controller, processes your personal data as described below.

Data we process

• Identity and contact: name, username, e-mail address, profile photo.
• Account and usage: preferences, language, time zone, device and notification data, in-app actions.
• Activity data: workouts, duration, distance, photos; location and routes only with your explicit consent.
• Health data (special category): only with your explicit consent — heart rate, sleep, steps, weight, body measurements, food logs.
• Communications: messages with personal trainers (PTs) and other users.

Purposes

Creating and managing your account; activity tracking and social features; facilitating PT services; security, fraud prevention and legal compliance; improving the service.

Legal grounds

Performance of a contract, legal obligations and legitimate interest (KVKK art. 5/2); your explicit consent for special-category data and cross-border transfers (KVKK art. 6 and 9).

Transfers

Data may be shared with hosting, e-mail and notification providers only as needed to run the service and under appropriate safeguards, and with authorities only where required by law. Your health data is never shared with other users except a PT you explicitly authorize.

Retention

Data is kept while your account is open and deleted or anonymized when you delete it. Records that must be kept by law are retained for the statutory period.

Your rights (KVKK art. 11)

You may learn whether your data is processed, request information, correction or deletion, learn the third parties it was transferred to, object, and claim compensation. You can download a copy of your data and delete your account in the app.
